ADHD is often misunderstood. Recent developments in neuroscience have “popped the hood” on the brain in ways that help us now better understand ADHD. According to recent reports from both
ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy and The ACO (ADHD Coaches Organization
,) in conjunction with CBT, and medication management, Positive Psychology provides a solid working foundation for successfully treating ADHD. This presentation will explore interventions for managing the symptoms of ADHD using the tenets of Barbara Luther, Master Coach with ADDCA, who draws from Martin Seligman.
Participants will be able to identify the three (3) symptoms of ADHD and be able to differentiate them from PTSD, Complex trauma, and other diagnoses often confused with ADHD.
Participants will be able to identify five (5) key elements as an integrated treatment system for effectively reducing ADHD sxs.
Participant will be able to identify three (3) national and two (2)
community and professional resources and support services to help their patients with ADHD
