Treatment Philosophy:
The heart of my work is helping women in their 20s and 30s who want to restore healing, peace, and balance to their lives. I take a collaborative, practical, and compassionate approach and empower you to recognize and utilize your strengths as a means of moving through fear, sadness, and insecurities. My aim is to support you as you move toward increased healing and wholeness in your life. While I focus primarily on Highly Sensitive Gen Zers and Millennials, my practice is open to all ages, genders, cultures, and sexualities.
Areas of Focus:
Issues I treat include stress, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, self-esteem, boundaries, and relationship issues. My work with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) focuses on helping you manage and utilize your sensitivity in more productive and enriching ways. I also offer an online HSP group for women as well as trainings for therapists working with HSPs.
Training Background:
My clinical training includes working with diverse client populations in individual, couple, family, and group settings at the Family Therapy Institute, the Community Counseling and Education Center, and AHA. I have also completed the advanced Highly Sensitive Person training program with Dr. Elaine Aron, the premier psychologist studying this trait. Additionally, I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
Service on the SB-CAMFT Board:
I served on the board of SB-CAMFT as the Prelicensed Director from 2015-2017 and as the Chief Financial Officer from 2017-2020.
