Megan Brown became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008, and has 21 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. She graduated from Laguna Blanca School in 1999, and earned an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Davidson College, and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Megan began her career as a therapist at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills where she provided therapy to adults and couples. She worked for three years at a non-profit agency in Orange County counseling children and families, and for five years providing therapy to undergraduate and graduate students at the Student Psychological Counseling Center at Chapman University. While at Chapman, Megan also earned a M.S. in Health Communication. She specializes in helping young adults, and has extensive experience providing therapy in an academic setting. Megan’s areas of clinical expertise include depression, anxiety, family concerns, academic issues, life transitions, and relationship problems. Megan has a private therapy practice, Fenestra Counseling, located at La Arcada in downtown Santa Barbara.
