About The Event

Neurodivergent Clinicians Affinity Group

The Neurodivergent Clinicians Affinity Group is intended for therapists who identify as neurodivergent, such as folks with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, learning differences, and other neurodivergent experiences and identities. Kassiane Asasumasu, an activist who coined the term neurodivergence, describes it as encompassing anyone who process information, learns, or behaves differently from what our dominant society dictates as "normal" or "typical." This group provides clinicians with an intersectional space to process the challenges in navigating a predominantly neurotypical and allistic world, as well as challenges that show up within our professional capacities. Here we will have an opportunity to share experiences, exchange resources, collect referrals, consult on cases, and through it all, cultivate connection with fellow clinicians in a neuroaffirming environment!

For the safety of this group’s members, to maintain the integrity and purpose of the group, and to ensure we are creating inclusive spaces, we ask you…
